It's not really about finding solutions. And therein lays the problem from a local up to a national level. Its always about which side will win. Thats ok if you're playing cards or football. But what if it has to do with a person's salary being dropped to min wage because one side or another wants to win? Or if someone cant afford to go to the doctor because their deductible is too high. Why are the politicians and the rich the only ones that always win? Threaten to drop their salaries to min wage; take away their 6 week vacations every other month; let the voters decide when they get a raise, and see how quickly things get done!

"Democrats dominated by their ultra-government faction" Oh come on, the Repubs are the ones playing hard ball at the State's expense. Dems almost always break ranks to get something done. The Repubs and their nazi like adherence to their party are the ones holding the budget up. They are taking their orders from party leaders who answer to the likes of those such as Falwell, Robertson, Cheney (hello State energy crisis?!?!?). You cannot find trash like this on the Dems side. Argue against this if you can find the facts. You wont.

Post-partisanship was post-partum stillborn. Only works in a one-party system. Remember the words of one former legislative leader: "No permanent friends, no permanent enemies."
