  • This is easy. Take the detainees who really are the worst of the worst, fly them by helicopter gunship to a remote battlefield in Afghanistan and release them. Point them toward a cache of weapons. Give them 5 minutes. Fly back by. If they open fire, kill them. Report that 1) they were released (true) and 2) they took up arms and were killed (also true).

  • There is nothing to decide on the detainees. Either open their cell doors and the front gate to the camp and let them go into Cuba, the worker's paradise, or ship them back to their homes and let them go. They are't worth the trouble to keep and fool with any longer. This is an easy and simple solution to a bad situation that never should have been allowed to occur. Immediately after the detainees are released, start closing the entire base and get our military people home. Gitmo has long outlived it's usefullness to America.
