  • Members of Congress swear to uphold the Constitution. They cannot turn a blind eye to Bush's "high crimes and misdemeanors" and fulfill their duties.

  • Bush deserves to be impeached, imprisoned, and have his wealth stripped to pay for his crimes against the nation. What crimes? Too numerous to mention.

  • Of course both of them should be impeached. It is unconscionable that our elected officials, as in Henry Waxman, my congressman, and others within the California delegation, will NOT stand up for the constitution they took an oath to preserve. ###

  • #30 implies an attitude not trustworthy in a sentinel--a weakness that lets a spy with a forged passport get access to & rob public storehouses. Bob cited many harmful effects of Bush-Cheney policy. He wants to give them almost a year to cripple & kill faraway people, enrich contract-greasy Cheney pals & make Congress borrow from pals of the Bush administration. IMPEACH!

  • Comments show which panel users have wide access to (and respect for) founding documents & know history of public official crooks. I'm personally harmed (retirement threatened) by the illegal Bush war & its catastrophic downpull on the stock market. Bush war debt means Congress borrowed at high interest rates that held until the bad loan mess revealed itself--based on those same high rates. We suffer recession now. Impeach Bush-Cheney for destroying economic security of U.S. citizens & add war crimes, lying & exposing Mrs. Wilson to harm her truth-teller husband.

  • Al Alverez deceives when he quotes the Constitution. He should try reading it and quoting it correctly. It only uses the word "shall" in reference to "remove." The Constitution specifies the manner for removal of the President and says Congress "shall remove" after trial and conviction for the specified conduct -- it does not require Congress to take action. Once again, knowledge and truth seem to have no place in the agenda for Bush bashers!

  • Impeachment is the most important LEGISLATION law Congress MUST ENFORCE NOW. I'd impeach all members who refuse to take part--FOR DERELICTION OF DUTY and for abuse of office.

"Waste of time" say obstructionists @ 1:16 PM PST, Feb 24, 2008

  • Impeachment exists to protect the nation from crooks & traitors who aid foreign powers so our citizens are harmed. The illegal Bush war purposely "made petrolum products scarce" so "the market system of supply & demand can work." Oil is base of Bush Sr. & son's wealth. What faster way to "make gasoline scarce" than letting Bush ORDER it burned away in military use. He makes all of us take a huge wage cut at the pump. He can do that ONLY until he's impeached. Stop economic parasitism of his oil war.

  • #15 mentions "stupidity" of discussing impeachment. "Stupid" means being unable to learn. Commentator #16 has been deprived of access to repeated acts of lying and violations of US & international laws & treaties and contract law by Bush & Cheney.

    Mole comments? #15 & #16? @ 12:53 PM PST, Feb 24, 2008

  • Like Reagan, was Bush picked by his handlers to distract honest lawmakers with what seems like dyslexia or an extremely shrewd dramatic performance portraying speech defects? If a clever liar can give the impression he's too absent-minded to be able to be personally responsible for starting an illegal war--he's home safe--UNLESS Congress acts to IMPEACH him.
