All these bailouts are very confusing. Paulson is an idiot throwing around hundreds of billions of dollars. He has shown that no one really has a true grasp of the situation. It's all spectulative. Isn't america getting just what it deserves. We all want SUV's and hugh houses we can't aford. We close our eyes to real problems and now we want to blame someone.

Does the Big three have enough congressmen taking bribes to get this bailout when voters disaprove?

Today at the hearings, Ford CEO Alan Mulally said "Our plan is working, but there is clearly more to do". I'm wondering if he got that line from the Bush administration since Americans have heard it 101 times regarding their never-ending war in Iraq. Congress caves every time so Mulally, Wagoner, and Nardelli might as well say "we've won the war on fuel efficiency" or "we've won the war on the UAW", then just collect their checks and be done with it.

Rather than report the truth about the Big 3 you report an exxagerated version of it causing panic. Your reporters go into car dealers asking, "We hear your closing, any idea when that is going to happen?" Nothing has been decided by the powers that be and you all are already putting flowers on the grave. I guess that doom and gloom are what sells papers for you. So let me ask you this.....I heard your paper is laying off another few thousand people right before Christmas because your ownership ran the business into the ground, how do you feel about that? Sucks doesn't it?
