I can't even imagine Palim being "a confidant and advisor" to the President. What will Palim come up with as advice on how to deal with Putin, Russia, Cuba, etc. Her background shows me nothing in the way to run a government; Keeping a Downs baby, or any other baby, is a personal decision, and to be commended or not, depending on many other elements; this does not mean such a woman making these types of parental decisions can run a country. What happened to common sense and knowledge in voting?
