  • The representives gave us lip services, as all along they we gonna give GM bailout money. It is wrong and we do not have a demacratic socicity any longer. Lier, cheats, payoff is the american way. We all voiced no bailout, but they have to take money from lobbyiest. America died today.

  • Any Automotive bail as well as unemployment benefits should be funded through an increased gas tax. It keeps consumers and automakers pointed in the right direction, and takes one of the two major opponents (Automakers) to it and puts them in favor of it. With gas prices where they are NOW is the time to do it. WHY is no one in congress talking about it?

  • Consider the Connection to: The economy, and the environment The economy=FOOD-SHELTER-JOBS The environment= The big 3 should get a bail out with "VERY" strong environmental strings attatched!!! For details, Google Search: Who Killed the Electric Car?

  • Those shouting for a bailout because of all of the jobs are being dishonest. The top condition of a bailout or bankruptcy is jobcuts. Save the next bailout for those out of work Americans. They'll need it more. Let GM beg the banks for their loan!

  • Congress running our economy? We are supposed to me a market economy not a socialist or communist one. If they have to go into bankruptcy and form a sound economic plan, they will emerge a much stronger and viable company. Also, congress can’t even manage the government like they are supposed to. They think nothing about the future of this nation and believe either that the money they barrow from China to prop up our government will be never-ending or that when our government does collapse they will no longer be in office so they won’t be blamed. No bailout for auto companies and no more corporate welfare!
