  • I moved from western Michigan out to California and I love it out here....however.... This article points out my biggest pet peeve about California. The dirty highways and streets. I can understand when driving you hit the animal to avoid a crash and you end up with a poor lifeless furball on the road. Don't you have roadkill crews or DOT to do weekly runs for this? The other part to this on the garbage issue is to all those people who just chuck stuff out on the road. If I wanted to see stuff like that I would have moved to someplace ugly like Detroit.

  • Yes, I understand the feelings of the drliver who is worried about the two dead cats, and I mostly agree with him, but It should be evident to everybody with a California driver license that freeways are under the control of the state, not the city and not the county. I guess it wouldn't be too much to ask the City Hall information-givers to know the difference as well.
