The most significant and relevant statement of Mr. Abu Marzoulk is: " Blockades are acts of war". While the Palestinians stopped firing, Israel maintained a total blockade to starve the population and targeted assasinations to decapitate their leadership. Some ceasefire!!

As if their actions - suicide bombings, using human shields, hostage taking - are not enough, the Hamas Charter (http://www.mideastweb.org/hamas.htm) shows what they are all about: "There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors." (Art.13) and refers to antisemitic forgery "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" as evidence. (Art.32)

A 'legacy of suffering' fuels the conflict, my backside! The Arab culture and the legacy of the Koran is what fuels the conflict. These racist, dual-minded Arab cowards could have peace in a heartbeat, but choose to hate Jews instead of love their own children. They have chosen the terms of the conflict and I say let their blood run until they cry to their pagan god for it to stop.

Islamists are not the freedom fighters the media would have you believe. Freedom from what? They already have had freedom since 2005. And haven't done a thing for Gaza except buy arms from Iran to kill Israelis. Their stated goal is the destruction of Israel. They have no moral argument. The media is morally bankrupt. There is no excuse for this treasonous behavior.

The LA Times is soon to be defunct, just like the NY Times, and will stop at nothing in order to gain readership. But hey LA... no readership, no ads, no money. Bye, bye moonbat. Only now, they have really stooped to a new low. By giving a group(s) like hamas, hezbollah, iran among others that have vowed the destruction of another soverign state, the LA Times has shown it's true colors (pinko) and has garnered no credibility. Imagine giving Hitler, Stalin, or Pol Pot a chance to give their version of events.
