i had no clue Warren was that extreme. It's absolutely disgusting, if you ask - and 1/2 my family died in the concentration camps of Poland. I'm thoroughly dissapointed in Obama.
P.S: Juan, you might want to check your spelling. It slightly diminishes my ability to take anything you say seriously. "liers"? Gee, even a 6 year old could spot that one.

Solution: break up the United States of America.

Typical anti-Christian hatred. Too bad Obama didn't pick a Jew, at least then we could refer to you haters as the Nazis you truly are. Its laughable how those who espouse "tolerance" are the most intolerant bigots out there.

Wow, is this Rosie Odonnell writing this article. Completely incoherent, narrow minded, and full of hate. Merry Christmas!

GREAT editorial, very well said.

Obama thinks marriage should be between a man and a woman. Why did gay people support him? The gay movement shows less tolerance than the mainstream. If you REALLY want to talk outrage - Obama's use of the Lincoln Bible shows incredible arrogance. If a Republican did that, the Times would be apoplectic. Stop being the LA Gay newspaper and write about something your READERS care about.

Obama's base are gays? Interesting.

The left wing should thank their lucky stars that Warren accepted the invitation to speak. It's driven a wedge among evangelicals, and you have many conservatives defending Obama to his own base. Yikes! Talk about a victory for the most left-leaning president in history. The real issue for Obama is his own party and the classic power struggle between the branches. He is shrewdly positioning to the center right, to give himself leverage with the left who want to control him and his agenda (particularly a certain Californian, AKA Madame Pelosi and her cronies in the House).

Well, he's probably no worse than most of the Sunday idiots out there. I hope we will transcend religion during my lifetime. After all, 9/11 was the ultimate "faith-based initiative."

Rick Warren and his bible thumping idiot followers use more dangerous rhetoric than the president of Iran. Americans and Israelis are angry that the Iranian president has called for the end of Israel (and death of the Jews) as an independent nation, yet Warren does the same thing in the name of Christianity. Women are often frustrated that females in Islam have to give in to the will of men, yet the Saddleback Church website calls for the same thing. Gays can be killed in the Middle Eastern countres under the safety net of the Koran, yet the homophobia spread by Warren causes Gay Bashing all over America!
