If I am correctly interpreting this opinion piece it seems you are stating that if you are not a republican, you are not a Christian. Joe Biden and Barak Obama are Christians, but it would appear, not your kind of Christians. I think you should spend more time reading your Bible and not playing God.

McPalin is meeting "world" leaders and this will make her an expert in foreign policy. keep her away from the zoo, because the result would be, well..."interesting". another eight years of "call of the wild" foreing policy. now if she would meet some of the leaders of the domestic "free' press, we may learn more about the thinking process of this fearless hunter from the "wild" north.

Go on, continue trashing a woman governor with the highest approval rate in the country. This only shows envy and frustration. It is Obama's fault if he's scared of being surrounded by a strong White woman like Hillary. It was his mistake not to ask her to become his VP. Now it is the Republicans who are promoting an amazing woman, and this is what those liberals trashing Palin can't stand.
Go on. The more you trash her, the more many people admire her. I am one of them.

From the title of your post, I was hoping to read more about some positives of Palin rather than a rant that assumes all democrats agree with viral emails. I was disappointed with the media coverage of Palin, but even more disappointed when her convention speech was full of politics as usual.

I notice lots of comments attaching McCain/Palin to different things, including Wall Street corruption. Would any of you Obama/Biden supporters help me understand how "time for a change" would include an old school dem. like Biden? And also, could you explain why the former head of Freddie Mac is a key advisor to Obama's campaign? I'd really like to understand your thinking on at least those two issues.

I have just finished reading through the comments here. The article nails it, and the comments here prove it. Palin is a joke candidate? And the Messiah of change picks Biden? Will it ever be possible for you liberals to put your emotionalism away and apply some logic to issues? Your policies are in full force in California! How's it lookin' to you? How's that liberal education model working? How's crime in the inner city going? Immigration? I would love to see some real solutions without all the hand-wringing pap.

Ive never seen or heard anything that compares to the lies and trash spewed about Sarah Palin. I am sickened by the bloggers and the journalists and columnists who repeat the trash-talking. But, a part of me thinks that what goes around comes around and the excesses are being observed by voters who are deciding whether to reward the Democratic ticket with their votes. The hysteria is increasing as the election race seems to have stalled in the polls and I'm not sure why personally trashing one of the candidates should encourage voters to back the Democrats. Trashing Palin doesn't make me want to vote for them.

If not for bloggers, many facts about Sarah Palin would not be widely known. The main stream media ignored her anti-environmentalism, anti-Native American lawsuits, and even making rape victims pay for their own rape kits. I find these things repellent, and if that is called an "unnerving frenzy of hatred" so be it. The center of the Republican party may have been small businessmen and practical people years ago, but it has been neither practical in its policies nor favorable to SMALL business for a couple of decades. The statement that Republicans are "good for business" is also a stereotype, and not a very accurate one of late.

Yeah, yet another conservative telling us how rational and even handed they ALL are... right.
