  • But who will be the next should have to do a great change in environmental issues related to the global warming. Which is the dangerous problem of the whole world. ===============-======= Stuartdenley California Dui 1234

  • This is a response, with respect to Dr, Larry. Let's look to the mistakes of the propaganda of the past and not repeat them today.lYes, the republican failures of the eighties have come to haunt us. Global warming affects our future as a species. Let'sput the the mistakes behind us and look at global warming as the responsibility of everyone, including Jerry Brown.

  • I thought the question was about what California AG Brown should be doing about global warming". Some responses do not address this issue, but point political fingers about Republican failures. If California needs leadership for addressing global warming, then give someone the job and fund the effort. Otherwise, Brown's efforts only improve his media persona and helps his run for Governor. Our AG has a legal mandate, save the kids in my community that are dying from crime! Kids, not gang-bangers, are dying daily. Talking about using different words to diffuse criticism, we worry less if the dead child has “gang connections”

  • Mike Spence makes the disingenuous remark that the term "climate change" is BRILLIANT!!! because climate is always changing. Uh, Mike, maybe only the stupidest people in American are unaware that the term "Climate Change" was coined by a Republican consultant in DIRECT RESPONSE to, and in an effort to dilute, the previously commonly used phrase "Global Warming". In other words, your kind made it up to make it sound like the planet melting down is no big deal. Way to pat yourself on the back, you Republican (BTW: the term "Republican" is meant as a slur, it's the nastiest thing I can think of to call someone.)

  • To divide our nation on the issue of global warming hearkens back to President Reagan's day when one of his first acts in office was to dismantle the solar panels on the White House roof and reversed most of President Carter's alternative energy policies. Yes Mike, climate changes daily. Yet, we have changed our climate by emitting to much carbon into the atmosphere. As President Carter said in 1977 "It is a problem we will not solve in the next few years, and it is likely to get progressively worse through the rest of this century. "We must not be selfish or timid if we hope to have a decent world for our children and grandchildren.

  • Janice- don't you mean "moot" not mute?

  • I wish Brown would act for the people and get rid of the criminal illegals and stop the Mexican trucks rolling into the United States starting Saturday! All the air quality laws in the world will be mute once these death grenades start rolling. No inspections, no drug testing no inspections of rigs no inspections of cargo! Just once I wish someone would represent the American peoples intrests! Janice Gammill Costa Mesa Ca

  • As a 4th generation Californian, I left the state exactly because of the selective focus of political policies driven by the elected Democrats. They ignore larger problems, such as education, for idealogical/political agendas.

  • If the Global Warming is such a threat, the AG should propose and pass through the Legislature the position of Chief of Ervironmental Police. Otherwise there is a gang problem that is daily taking young lives! There is no debate that urban youth's lives are far more threatened by drugs and gunfire and a dysfunctional community around them. The hot gasses that are most deadly to our society are generated by those who cannot see the present danger.
