JetBlue still flies high

Re “Et tu, JetBlue?” editorial, March 16

The biggest problem with American business is Wall Street. Legions of analysts who produce nothing freak out over JetBlue’s first quarterly loss, and all of a sudden JetBlue’s business model is seen as risky. JetBlue’s on-time performance fell victim to weather conditions that no one could have avoided. Fuel prices are high and JetBlue is losing money, but it will get through this and thrive.

Every time I fly JetBlue, the planes are full. The employees are fantastic. And those “pedestrian” satellite TV channels are a heck of lot more entertaining than the bare backs of competitors’ seats. I think I’ll ignore the handwringers on Wall Street and continue to save money while enjoying my comfortable seat, plentiful snacks and drinks and pedestrian satellite TV on JetBlue.
