unfortunately, there is no way to tell when the medical board is doing its job. the lack of serious actions can also be from the lack of over sight. i think most doctors are competent, but the ones that aren't seem to be able to continue to practice without much of a problem. the only real gage of how bad the board is doing is how high the malpractice insurance is. and thats only a maybe.
