2-turks only defended their country after one year attached of ermeniasn who had been accepted as the most reliable and loyal/faithful society in the ottoman empire. it is unfair to turks to approach the events with only political perpectives. you even refused prof standford shaw whom you abd-the leader of the freedom forced to leave the country because he told the truth about armenians.. so, this ermeniasn jenosid story is just a political issue and there is no concrete base. i just wanted to inform you kindly thanks a lot regards

sir,
1-first it should be asked this question: who and whom did start to shed of blood during the ottoman empire? and who did start the genoside towards jews in germany? both of them completely different issues. you can never find any equality in them. please, read the archive papers, records in turkiye, England, Russia and, even Ermenian records..

Thank you for this article! You know, even in another 93 years or a millenium later when many generations change in Turkey , they'll still deny the crime of their ancestors. and that's the worst part. But we have to make sure that all Armenian generations never forget!
Call it however you want, the essence is the same: murder, and not simply murder, but they enjoyed the outstanding cruelty with wich they did it!

Well done, Garin. Shat lav.

The last time I checked the UN definition for Genocide, all five conditions applied for the Armenian Genocide -- when even 1 condition can suffice.
There are no time limitations for bringing murderers to justice. Since the current Turkish government continues to do everything to deny the Genocide and hold on to the gains obtained through the Genocide, continuing the crime, as an accessory to murder, the world courts should make it face justice.
As our Congress delays recognition of the Armenian Genocide, it continues to deny justice, as they say "Justice delayed is justice denied". It is time that at least Congress acted on H Res 106.

Rafael Lemkin, who invented the word genocide, the deliberate and systematic destruction of an ethnic, racial, religious, or national group, in 1940-s invented the word based on Armenian and Jewish genocides. Armenian genocide WAS a genocide and has been recognized by some 22 (some influential/powerful governments of the world). It yet has to be recognized by more. NOBODY can deny the history!
Thank you Garin!

We Armenians must continue to fight for the official recognition of what really happened 93 years ago and nurture our cultural heritage rather than stoke nationalist resentment over the loss of our geographic homeland. Though the centuries-old churches decaying across now-eastern Turkey are testament to not only past but present hatred of Armenians, let us set an example and take the high road. Lets remember those massacred in 1915 not with an eye toward Repossession of lost land but for the greater cause of raising Turkeysand the world'sawareness of man's capacity for evil.

Bravo Garin! I have heard first hand accounts of
what my grandparents witnessed and suffered. Buz is probably a Turkish denialist, and as for David Lorry, it is HE that can't read history. No part of
Algeria is called France. Turks massacred 1.5 million
Armenians with the intention to annihilate an entire nation who lived on those lands for 2,000 years.
Anatole France wrote "Armenia is dying but it
will survive. The little blood that it still has left is precious blood that will give birth to a heroic generation. A nation that does not want to die, does not die." Garin and a whole new
Armenian generation, is living proof.
