Not all cartoonists were caught up in the Obama-Clinton frenzy.

Cartoonists stumble upon our voices when we wander off the news-beaten path. This week, while many of us joined rightist radioheads and panicky Clintonites in warning about Barack Obama's lack of substantive specifics, Rob Rogers delivered a stinging, soul-searching rebuke on race and the race. Speaking of "Where's the beef?" the always original Matt Bors surely penned the only grisly piece on penned livestock. Finally, consider John Sherffius' splendidly stark assessment of congressional and corporate capitulation on government surveillance. Now that deserved wider mega-media play. (Ignore those random beeps on your cellphone, John)
