Mr. Oboma, my husband and I are retired we live on a fixed income -even tho we have lots of bills-we borrowed money on our credit card and sent it to your campaign twice-why because we have faith and trust that you will be as good in your debate with Hillary tonight as you are making speeches. remind her attempts while in the white house were just attempts. She was no Eleanor Roosevelt

Obama says on Muslim Dress "Everybody knows that whether it's me or Senator Clinton or Bill Clinton that when you travel to other countries they ask you to try on traditional garb that you have been given as a gift." If that's the case, when he visits America, I'm asking him to put his hand over his heart during the National Anthem and wear an American Flag pin.

I just perused the comments for the 1st time since the letter was published! Let me clear a few things up: I'm not a Clinton plant. I'm a passionate Obama supporter. Remember, the first 1/2 of the letter recounts his strengths that set him apart from Clinton. Of course I know he has substantive policy positions, and I know where to find them. But I wrote the letter because I was disturbed that so many people I know still *perceived* Obama as lacking specifics. Perceptions count just as much as policy papers on your web site when it comes to politics. Think of the letter as tough love, not hostile criticism!

Sarah, please what did you ask of George Bush...

Dear Senator Obama, Will you pledge to protect our children from the illegal drug trafficking of Al Queda? Will you pledge to prepare our children for Hope Not Dope?

I would love to hear Obama explain in simple english, how he's going to fix health care for all americans, how he's going to fix our boarders, and when? How is he going to get us off the oil and when? how is he going to get us out of this war? and the war on the middle class?? How exactly is he going to fix the millions of home we are looseing or lost?? When is he going to start explaining on the how's instead of the YES WE CAN bit, thats getting nauseating,

Why aren't you walking the talk about supporting public financing of elections? It's impossible to believe your rhetoric when: 1) your actions don't match; and, 2) your wife told a 17-yr-old girl just before Iowa Caucus Day that Edwards--the best candidate IMO--couldn't win because he publicly financed his campaign. Shame on Michelle--what a slap to public financing and campaign reform!

After reading Sarah Miller's comments - I knew we should have voted for Edwards!

Sarah Miller should be embarrassed that she had no good reason of her own to have voted for Mr Obama. She shouldn't be asking the questions AFTER she voted, they should've come BEFORE she voted. Ignorance is not bliss when it comes to the future of our country. And she even makes a continued commitment to his candidacy even though she admits to having no knowledge of a good reason. Maybe young people shouldn't vote. Naivety is a blessing in some forums, but just not in this one.
