"Judges" should be paid minimum wage. Many are arrogant, lazy and rude. The only real judge is God. This is something "judges" should keep in mind when they hand out punishment. If they are not lenient, God will not be lenient with them.

"today, federal district judges are paid about half what the deans and senior law professors at top schools are paid" Well maybe it's the these clowns that are overpaid, duh.

Judges should get paid more. It is a difficult job and judges deserve it

I think that judges already get paid alot, why give them more? Have they been doing such a good job that thay would want to pay them more? With all the flaws in our system? I don't think so. If we lose good judges to other postions or resignation, then that's just greed. Judges should all be paid a base salary of about $100,000. That's good enough.

Mr. Axelrad has a distorted view of public vs private service. Public service historically entailed some sacrifice of income, but that has long since been attenuated with lavish benefits - especially retirement. I do not weep for anyone who cannot live on $175,000 a year in a job that is guaranteed for life.
