How important is gun control to you in deciding whether a presidential candidate is fit for the White House? Which issues, if any, rank higher than gun control in the current election?

I'm Pro Gun & NRA all the way. For me there's only ONE issue, my 2nd Amendent freedom. *** For those who are anti-gun, let me ask you this: Two guys break into your home. One with a baseball bat, the other a machete.., both looking to do you, your wife and two younger daughters harm. *** You've got 20 seconds or less to do something.., and only two options. One is to try and call 911.., and die doing so. Or, sucessfully defend yourself with a firearm. *** So what's your decision?

The longer a politician is in office, the more power they obtain for personal gain and agenda. For those that want change, check out Obama's voting record, where he voted against enhanced penalties for gang members committing crimes with a gun, and as a board member of a gun ban group (joyce foundation), has tried to pass laws to prevent law abiding citizens to protect themselves from criminals in their own home. He associates with groups that hate americans. For real change, instead of waiting for a politician trying to pass term limits, impose your own 1 term term-limit. NRA=Never Re-elect Anyone

I will never vote for any candidate at any level that does not believe in stricter gun controls. When 30.000 people die in the US each year that is a national catas[rophe. In Western Europe it is very difficult to own any kind of gun. The gun homicide rate in England and Wales is about 50 per year, similar to the rest of Europe. I am for gun ownership. of the variety of muzzle loader that was available when the constition was written

those who value the 2nd amendment should understand that while the nra carried the weight for years ---it may fail to save our gun rights because it has other agendas. right wing conservative agendas prevent the issue from being a third rail issue--as is support for israel--across party lines. people who might have been for gun rights have been turned off by the other issues promoted by the politicians supported by the nra. both in local and nationl elections- the nra pushed issues outside of gun rights through the people they supported.

So far I understand, the NRA supports that any lunatick person, if criminal or not (always the others are) can aquire firearms as easy and cheap as possible, without having any sporting or hunting animal need. You can shoot anybody you suspects beeing criminal without having the police taking care of the matter. You don't want to have your gun registered, because if you accidentally happen to injure a buddy with your gun when you were drunk last time, you still want to keep the right to carry your gun.

Most NRA rank-and-file members believe that people under the age of 21 shouldn't be able to gain access to a firearm nor should we allow those mental health issues to possess one. Submitted by: US Fan Don't think your facts are correct US Fan. I just participated in a poll conducted by NRA regarding the use of firearms. Most suggested training at approximately 9 was the winner. Go check out their web site. The NRA keeps us very well informed.

The Second Amendment is THE most important part of our Constitution, and it is the cornerstone of the Liberty that sets America apart from all other nations in history. This issue is the deal-breaker for me, and I will NOT vote for a politician who does not support it in full.

As a Jewess in the US, I would like to remind everyone that criminals are stopped by FIREARMS, not by talk. And, that America wasn't won with a registered gun! That is why all REAL Americans put our 2nd Amendment FIRST!

If a candidate would disregard the Second Amendment by placing additional restrictions on law abiding citizens (criminals don't obey laws) , the rest of the Constitution would be very much in jepordy as well. Support of the Second Amendment to the Constitution is what I base my vote on. Yes, I am a one issue voter. Always have been, always will be.
