AREA 1

North Coast Highway and Aster Street: A stolen vehicle was reported at 3:57 a.m. Tuesday. The missing car was a 2001 Chevy Malibu with four-wheel drive.

Cypress Drive and Holly Street: A disturbance was reported at 11:56 p.m. Wednesday. The caller said a man and his girlfriend were having a verbal fight while the girlfriend was parked inside a silver Honda on Holly Street. The man was trying to return the woman’s purse to her, but she refused to open the car door, the caller reported.

Cliff Drive: Petty theft was reported in the 200 block at 10:01 a.m. Wednesday. The caller said two UPS packages were stolen. The loss was estimated at $200.

Wilson Street and El Bosque: Vandalism was reported at 2:52 p.m. Monday. A 2007 silver Honda belonging to a Laguna Beach High School student was keyed on the left side, according to the caller.

South Coast Highway: A person driving under the influence was reported in the 600 block at 12:53 a.m. Monday. The caller said a male in a silver Prius parked in the valet area at the Pacific Edge Hotel was refusing to leave and arguing with security.

Sleepy Hollow Lane: Two allegedly publicly intoxicated people were reported in the 600 block at 11:15 a.m. Saturday. The caller said a male and female were passed out in the middle of the street. The female was arrested.

South Coast Highway and Thalia Street: A reckless driver was reported at 10:06 a.m. Wednesday. The caller said a silver smaller coupe was speeding and zig zagging.

AREA 4

South Coast Highway: Vandalism was reported in the 1300 block at 7:55 a.m. Tuesday. The caller said a pumpkin was pushed off a wall at the Laguna Nursery. The loss was estimated at $200.

Juanita Way: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 2500 block at 1:27 p.m. Sunday. The caller said his wife’s dark blue Mercedes SUV was broken into over the weekend. The registration was stolen and it appeared the person attempted to steal the radio. The caller estimated the loss at $50.

South Coast Highway: Suspicious circumstances were reported in the 1300 block at 9:25 a.m. Wednesday. The caller said disturbing emails discussing killing people were discovered from a recently released employee.

AREA 5

Brentwood Drive: Annoying calls were reported in the 31500 block at 1:43 p.m. Monday. The caller made a report at the front counter after receiving threatening text messages since Thanksgiving. The caller said they knew who the messages were from.

South Coast Highway: Animal noises were reported in the 30800 block at 9:12 a.m. Friday. The caller said excessive noise from pets and birds was coming from Animal Crackers Pet Rescue.
