More than 250 women attended the Oct. 2 event, chaired by club parent Molly Zurflueh and held at a Laguna Beach home.

Guests dined on cuisine from Starfish Laguna Beach. Lugano Diamonds held a drawing for three strands of pearls, a $2,500 gift certificate and a black-and-white diamond necklace valued at more than $12,000, according to the release.

Live and silent auction items included dinner at the Montage, a leopard-printed Valentino handbag, and a vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Money raised will go toward the club’s after-school programs.

“This was our most successful Girls’ Night Out in terms of enthusiasm and revenue,” club Executive Director Pam Estes said in the release. “Now, more than ever, we need our community’s support as we are growing exponentially and the amount of children that need us grows too.”
