RURAL RETREAT, Va.—
Two people are hurt after a truck entered a rest stop going too fast in our area.
State Police say the truck was going around 75 miles per hour when it flew threw the air and slammed into the side of a building and a vending machine at that rest stop along Interstate 81 near Rural Retreat around 5:00 p.m. Thursday.
Helicopters flew the man and woman who were inside the car to hospitals in Bristol, Virginia and Johnson City, Tennessee. Police plan to charge the driver with a crime.
