BROOKLYN, N.Y. (WPIX)—The death of a 4-year-old Brooklyn boy has been ruled a homicide.
Officers responded to a 911 call from the boy's mother Friday afternoon, when they found little Jayden Lenescar unconscious. He was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Medical examiners say the cause of death was blunt impact injuries to the torso and extremities.
The boy's father told the Daily News that he hadn't seen the boy in two weeks.
His mother, Mackenzy Lenescar, said she has no idea what happened to the boy. Jayden lived with his mother in an apartment building in Crown Heights.
