EAST FLATBUSH, N.Y. (WPIX)—New York City police are hoping new surveillance tape will help track down the gunman responsible for shooting a nine-year-old boy in the leg.
The incident occurred Friday night as the young boy was riding his bike on East 45th St. in East Flatbush around 8:30 a.m. The suspect was caught on tape running down Chruch Ave while firing a weapon in the direction of East 45th Street.
The victim was rushed to Kings County Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.
