NEW YORK (PIX11)—
Police were investigating the cause of a scaffolding collapse in Chelsea Friday morning.
According to officials, the six-story scaffolding crumbled down on West 14th St. near Seventh Avenue some time before 8 a.m.
It wasn't clear what caused the collapse. No injuries were reported.
Authorities closed traffic on 14th St. between Seventh and Eight Avenues. Traffic reopened sometime before noon.
