CROWN HEIGHTS (WPIX)—Arson investigators are inspecting a suspicious house fire in Brooklyn that has sent one person to the hospital with serious injuries Wednesday morning.
The fire at 2042 Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights began just after 6:30 a.m on the second floor of the three-story home.
Flames quickly spread throughout the frame house and the blaze turned into an all-hands fire.
By 7:20 a.m., the fire was deemed under control and one person was sent to a local hospital with first and second degree burns to 12 percent of the victim's body.
The name of the victim was not immediately known.
Although the exact cause of the fire is under investigation, it has been deemed suspicious.
