CROWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. (WPIX)—
New York City police were called to the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn Wednesday afternoon after receiving reports of shots being fired from a roof top, PIX News has learned.Four people were rushed to Kings County Hospital -- however police are only confirming three were shot so far. The victims sustained non-life threatening injuries, officials said.
Authorities responded to the scene on President St. near Franklin Ave. after two callers said shots were being fired from a roof around 3:27 p.m.
Police emergency units and a police helicopter are conducting separate searches in the area for the suspect.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
