Hundreds of people attended a Memorial Day ceremony at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Sunday afternoon.
"I think it was very important to have this ceremony today, to honor those who did die," said Phyllis Lamar.
Lamar attended the ceremony in honor of her husband, who served in the Navy for 22 years.
Ken Hooker, a Korea veteran, did the same with his family.
"It's sure a pleasure to be here. It's a great honor to respect those that didn't make it back. A lot of memories, a lot of people," he said.
