Philadelphia—The Sixers will get a chance to re-create some NBA history after forcing a Game 7 in the Eastern Conference semifinals with Boston. Philadelphia defeats the Celtics 82-75 in Game 6 at home. 30 years ago, the 76ers went to Boston and won a Game 7 to eliminate the Celtics. Philly will try and do the same thing Saturday Night on the road in Beantown. In fact, Sixers Head Coach Doug Collins actually showed his team that victory by Dr. J and company from '82 before Game 6 to help motivate his squad to send the series back to Boston.
Jrue Holiday led Philly's offensive attack with 20 points and 6 assists. They outscored the Celtics 49-39 in the second half after falling behind by three at the half. Just like in Game 4 at home, the Sixers rallied for the win. It's winner take all on Saturday Night in Game 7.
