HARTFORD—There may soon be a deal in Connecticut's divorce of the decade.
It would end a bitter battle between UTC's former chief executive George David and his estranged wife, the Swedish countess, Marie Douglas-David.
The Courant is reporting that after some scandalous testimony this week about extramarital affairs. attorneys are working into the night hashing out an agreement to end the tension for good.
Under the rumored settlement she would get title to an apartment in Sweden after David pays off the 5-million-dollar mortgage.
It would also reportedly give her more than the 43-million post-nuptial agreement she signed in 2005.
