A potpourri of bands and musicians have signed on to raise funds for victims of the Newtown tragedy this weekend at the Ridgefield Playhouse's Hope and Healing Concerts. Saturday will feature Edie Brickell, former Yankee Bernie Williams, Kicking Daisies, Carly and Eliza, Bobby Patlauf and Broadway's Andrea Frierson. On Sunday there's April Kry, Johnny Winter, Ed Kowalczyk from the band Live (pictured, also playing FTC on his own Saturday night), Chris Berardo and the Desperados, O.A.R., Steve Clarke Trio, Wagon Wheel Band and more. Dick Allen II, Poet Laureate for the state of Connecticut will read a poem he wrote about the tragedy, too.
