New Exhibit at New Britain Museum of American Art Showcases the Art of Digital Illustration

Scott Bakal, professor at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, curates this 27-work exhibit that sheds light on the amazing stuff coming from the desks of digital illustrators these days, including Melinda Beck's "Fine Dining with Your Dog" (pictured), a highly evocative, computer-assisted sketch that appeared in a 2008 issue of the German Dogs Magazine. Beck's worked for The New York Times, Rolling Stone, GQ and as an animator for Nickelodeon.
