Calling all outdoorspeople and fans of cinema: Get thee to the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour stops in Connecticut this week! The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour rolls into Deep River on Feb. 25 and New London on Feb. 26. North Cove Outfitters of Old Saybrook presents the screenings, which will feature the award-winning and audience favorite films from annual festival in Banff, Alberta, Canada. You'll see inspiring sights exploring the world of mountains, their landscapes and cultures.

 

Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour, Feb. 25, 7 p.m., Valley Regional High School, 256 Kelsey Road, Deep River; Feb. 26, 7 p.m., Connecticut College, 270 Mohegan Ave., New London.
