Spring Has Sprouted: Spring Exhibition at Alexey von Schlippe Gallery of Art in Groton

Celebrate the change in seasons at Uconn's Avery Point Campus' Alexey von Schlippe Gallery of Art with the display of works by six artists. The exhibit features paintings of weathered urban buildings by Tony Armendariz of Palatine, Ill.; paintings and multimedia works by Pamela and Frank Bramble of Torrington; paintings by Peruvian artist Gladys Forney, now living in New York City; and serigraphs by Sooky Maniquant, which are a visual representation of William Meredith's poems. On Fri., April 13, from 6-8 p.m., the gallery hosts an opening reception with live music from Bill Morrisson & Joe McWilliams Jazz Duo.
