A Great Big Pile of Leaves Plays The Space in Hamden

Let's hear it for seasonally appropriate band names. Brooklyn's A Great Big Pile of Leaves, who have roots here in good old Connecticut, hit The Space in Hamden on Nov. 5. The quartet are masters of straight-up sing-along indie rock. So, assuming we're all still intact now that the second annual late-October freak-storm has passed, we expect to see all your butts at the show.

A Great Big Pile of Leaves, with Now, Now, and One Hundred Year Ocean

Nov. 5, 7 p.m., $10-$12, The Space, 295 Treadwell St., Building H, Hamden, (203) 288-6400, thespacect.com, manicproductions.org.
