  • July 2: Fireworks Main Beach East Hampton.

  • July 2, Aug. 27: Racing and fireworks at Riverhead Raceway, Route 58, Riverhead, 631-727-0010; Admission, both dates: $25 adults, $5 kids 6-12, free younger than 5.

  • July 2: Sag Harbor Fireworks, presented by the Sag Harbor Yacht Club, off the Breakwater at dusk.

    June 11: Harbor Festival. Children's nautical games, activities, clam shuking contest, best baked clam and hot dog eating contests, live music, sports memorabilia auction, arts, crafts. 1 p.m. - 7 p.m. West Lake Drive, Montauk

    June 17-19: Mattituck Lions Club and North Fork Bank Strawberry Festival. Music, rides, ethnic foods and shortcake; fireworks and festival queen coronation on Saturday, hand-made crafts vendors on Saturday and Sunday; Sunday Dad's ride free on Father's Day.     July 4, Independence Day/C.V.O. Parade, Southampton, Parade begins at John Ducks' Restaurant, to Main Street Souampton, then down Job's Lane to the Reviewing Stand near Agawam Park, and ends on Windmill Lane. 9a.m.

    July 14-17: Hamptons Greek Festival. Live music, Hellenic crafts, jewelry, dancing, children's activities and food. Southampton Elks Lodge, Southampton

    July 17: Montauk Point Lighthouse Sprint Triathlon and Relay. 7 a.m. Montauk Point Lighthouse, Montauk

    July 23: Lobsterfest. Greenport and Southold Rotary clubs sponsor this annual event with live music. Wharf House at Founder's Landing, Southold


    August 6-7: Westhampton Beach Mary O. Fritche Outdoor Art Show.
