New-York Historical Society exhibit

This letter is from Eleanor Roosevelt to Jacqueline Kennedy after the birth of John F. Kennedy, Jr. and before President Kennedy's inauguration, giving advice about living in the White House. The New-York Historical Society in Manhattan opened two exhibitions. One exhibition, "First Ladies of New York and the Nation," celebrates Jacqueline Kennedy and Eleanor Roosevelt. The scecond: "First Ladies: Political Role and Public Image," a Smithsonian traveling exhibition of the achievements and contributions made by First Ladies throughout history.
