Readers React: A billionaire’s money well spent

I applaud — and am very grateful to — billionaire Tom Steyer for using his assets to educate and influence voters on the need to act now on climate change. It is a sad reality that the one with the most money is the one who gets his message out and, in most cases, wins (thank you, Supreme Court, for exacerbating this situation). (“Climate change a wedge issue in 2014? Billionaire Tom Steyer hopes so,” May 21)

Even sadder is the fact that so many still deny not only the state of the planet but man’s role in causing it.
