Letters: Paul Ryan deserves credit too

Re “Low-key success story,” Dec. 15

This article on the budget deal negotiated by Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) and Rep. Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) minimized the role Ryan played in this bipartisan deal. As the old song goes, it takes two to tango.

Ryan had as much to do with writing this bill as Murray did. Let’s give bipartisan credit where credit is due. After all, it doesn’t happen too often.
