In fact, she began to draw some criticism for being insufficiently anorexic to be a model role model. (She's seen above in a Carl's Jr. commercial.) So surely her arc of fame will be concluded this year by some minor scandal and she'll try, but fail, to steal a second act in some reality TV show. But somehow that doesn't seem a smart bet for 2013. For one thing, the bikini always seems to stay on, no matter what dance she's performing. That makes her an ever-so-slightly more prim pop culture presence than that other Kate something-ton across the pond. Besides, it's the U.S. Kate who's a proper equestrian and who is a type of royalty, even if it's American industrial royalty, being descended from one of the founders of washing machine giant Whirlpool Corp. And she has pushed her way into 2013 with a snarky tweet on the Alabama-Notre Dame game.
