Ricardo Lara (D-Bell Gardens) — author of a bill passed by the Senate that would provide healthcare coverage to immigrants who live in California illegally — talks about covering people “who are denied basic healthcare.” (“State Senate OKs health coverage for many immigrants here illegally,” June 2)
