Re “Dad is helping out more; Mom is still exhausted,” Oct. 9

I am proud to be the wife of a husband who has never “helped” me with child care and housework. Instead, my husband and I have lovingly “shared” these responsibilities.

Until we change our choice of verbs, child care and housework will continue to be the job of women.
