Mount Dora baby's brain surgery

With a seizure monitor device attached to her head, 13-month-old Joscelyn rests in her bed at the Florida Hospital for Children in Orlando on July 3, 2012. This week, doctors will remove half of Joscelyn's brain hoping to stop the 13-month-old girl's powerful, debilitating seizures. Her parents made the difficult decision while reeling from the loss of Joscelyn's 14-year-old brother, Nick Polk, who was killed in November in a Jet Ski accident. The surgery will take place on what would have been Nick's 15th birthday.
