Lance Blanchette chats with admited prostitute "Tutti," 43, along Ridgewood Ave. Daytona Beach Police Chief Michael Chitwood has stepped up patrols and hopes to speak to judges and legislators in the fall about toughening the laws to punish prostitutes and their customers. Too often, he said, the men and women arrested in the department's frequent prostitution and reverse prostitution stings get out of jail almost as soon as they are booked. |
