Orlando Magic 1998 draft pick Matt Harpring

With their third of three first-round picks in the 1998 draft, the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORSPT000208" title="Orlando Magic" href="/topic/sports/basketball/orlando-magic-ORSPT000208.topic">Orlando Magic</a> chose Georgia Tech forward <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PESPT002990" title="Matt Harpring" href="/topic/sports/matt-harpring-PESPT002990.topic">Matt Harpring</a> (left) with the No. 15 pick. He stayed with the Magic until August 2000, when he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers for center Andrew DeClercq. The Cavs later dealt Harpring to the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORSPT000210" title="Philadelphia 76ers" href="/topic/sports/basketball/philadelphia-76ers-ORSPT000210.topic">Philadelphia 76ers</a>, and when his contract was up, he signed with the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORSPT000119" title="Utah Jazz" href="/topic/sports/basketball/utah-jazz-ORSPT000119.topic">Utah Jazz</a> as a free agent. He remains on Utah's roster.
