The Orlando Magic did not draft Duke forward Corey Maggette. But on draft night in 1999, the Magic acquired the draft rights to Maggette (dunking), the No. 13 pick, from the Seattle SuperSonics for power forward Horace Grant and two future second-round picks. Seattle also sent swingman Dale Ellis, forward Don MacLean and swingman Billy Owens to Orlando as part of the deal.
