This photo was taken by Sharon and Mel Gilbert of Ocoee on a 38 day round-trip to St. Anthony, Newfoundland. "We saw hundreds of icebergs in harbors and along the coastline of the Great Northern Peninsula that were still there in August because of the cool spring and summer in the Canadian Maritime Provinces. These icebergs are normally melted away by early July," says Mel.
