After a decade and a half of frustration and three previous Super Bowl blowout losses, John Elway drove the Broncos to back-to-back Super Bowl championships with victories over Green Bay (Super Bowl XXXII) and Atlanta (XXXIII). Elway retired three months after beating the Falcons 34-19 on Jan 31, 1999.
