VINCE HOBBS/ORLANDO SENTINEL

Tone'Isha Pitt, 18, just graduated from Edgewater High School -- and has her sights set high.
"I want to be a psychiatrist. That's my ultimate dream. I've wanted to do that ever since I took psychology in 10th grade. I loved everything about it," says Tone'Isha, who moved to Orlando from Racine, Wis., when she was eight.
She plans to attend Valencia Community College in the fall for two years of pre-med studies, then to enter a medical school. She's not sure at which university yet -- but certainly in Florida.
Meanwhile, she hopes to land a summer job with a local Fortune 500 company -- "And probably spend some time at the beach."
Apart from her studies, which she takes seriously, Tone'Isha loves track, singing and dancing. She was captain of the Edgewater girls' track team as a junior, and captain of the step team in her senior year.
Tone'Isha, who is 5-feet-8-inches tall, also does runway modeling at local events, and is working to build up her print portfolio. "I love taking print pictures," she says. "But I really love runway. That's my time to shine."
