Some of the most popular spots: --Along the Indian River on U.S. 1 in Titusville. --The BeachLine Expressway (S.R. 528). The Bennett Causeway crossing the Indian and Banana rivers. --Off S.R. A1A along the Atlantic Ocean in Cocoa Beach. FROM A PARK Many parks in Brevard County are great for viewing a shuttle launch. Two of the most popular sites are Space View Park in Titusville and Jetty Park at Port Canaveral. FROM YOUR BOAT Boaters are barred from going north of S.R. 528 in the Banana River, south of Haulover Canal in the Mosquito Lagoon and from the NASA Causeway north to Haulover Canal in the Indian River. Boaters in the Atlantic Ocean must stay out of the area 5 miles north and south of the launchpad and 30 miles east into the ocean. Monitor Channel 16 VHF-FM for instructions from the Coast Guard.
