Hot Chelle Rae, the three-man band behind singles such as “Tonight, Tonight” and “Don’t Say Goodnight,” will lead off the Saturday Summer Nights concert series at Busch Gardens theme park in Tampa.
The group will perform at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, and the concert will be followed by a fireworks display. Hot Chelle Rae will be preceded by singer-songwriter ZZ Ward ("365 Days") at 7:30 p.m. Both will appear on the Gwazi Park stage.
Additional concerts include Bridgit Mendler ("Ready or Not") on July 5 and salsa-music group El Gran Combo on July 12. Those concerts will be at 8:30 p.m.
The performances are included in regular Busch Gardens admission.
Summer Nights includes extended park hours, after-dark roller coastering, the acrobatics show "Kinetix" (except on concert nights) and access to the park's new Pantopia, the reimagined area formerly known as Timbuktu.
